Bulgarian market ready to move - 24 April 2007
Agents attending an economic forum have said that the market for vacation property in Bulgaria is set to undergo changes in the near future...
Demand for holiday properties in central parts of the country is expected to increase, the Sofia Echo reports.
Villages that are well-known for their spa treatment facilities could expect to experience the highest levels of demand, attendees at the south-east European economic forum claimed.
On the back of these suggestions, regions such as Hisarya, Velingrad and Sandanski could soon become the hotspots of the Bulgarian property market.
Mediapool's reporting on the forum also suggested that the Bulgarian state agency for tourism is intending to support developments to increase the popularity of alternative holidays in the country.
One potential avenue which Bulgaria should exploit is the availability of mineral water springs, the tourism agency said.
